Remote energy and fuel monitoring systems are IoT (Internet of Things) based solutions comprising of hardware and software components. Remote energy monitoring system (enMonitor) measures numerous parameters captured from the Smart Meter and sends the data over GPRS to a cloud based application. This data is further analyzed to capture insights on possible energy savings. Similarly, Remote fuel monitoring system is used for diesel generators, big fuel tanks, construction/mining machines and trucks. It's an highly accurate solution which helps in preventing expensive fuel pilferage. Moreover, it provides automated end-to-end fuel reconciliation across fuel filling, consumption and fuel taken out. Other than this, one can also see how efficiently the engine is operating and can take preventive service maintenance, if required.

Additionally, Building management system adds optional components for physical parameter monitoring like temperature, humidity, flow, pressure etc. These components help in getting a view on the correlation of electricity usage with some of the other parameters and give insights on further reduction in energy consumption. Thus, one can also identify the low performing assets and those in need of urgent servicing.
